The little round cab Studebaker pickups have always been a love it or hate it design. I have to say I like it in this set up. Studebaker didn’t make a 4×4 so this owner had to take matters in to his own hands. The result is this 1948 Studebaker pickup on a 3/4 ton 4×4 donor chassis. Instead of crafting some makeshift bed the seller opted for the flatbed, which I think looks good and serves a nice utilitarian purpose. With a modern 350 V8 powerplant and an automatic transmission I’d have to think this thing would be a blast to drive on road or off. Currently at just over $4,000 (reserve not met) I wouldn’t think it will break the bank either if you’re looking for a fun offroad firedwood hauler. Check the flatbed Stude out in Rittman, Ohio.
