The description is brief, but the photos are more than capable salespeople for the old Jeep. There’s no doubt in my mind this vintage 3/4 ton Jeep looks better than it did when it left the Willys assembly line nearly 60 years ago. How the seller found the parts and pieces to make this forward control Jeep look new again is beyond me. Every knob, button, sticker and emblem appear perfect. There’s no visible evidence of a ding in the bed or anywhere on this impeccable masterpiece. The turquoise paint and matching seats are, if not the original color, a perfect choice for the old girl.
If I bought this Jeep I’d sleep in it for at least a week and then cover it in an oversized painting of Elvis on velvet for protection. If you’ve always wanted a FC150 Willys that you’d be scared shitless to scratch, much less ever drive, this one in Mars, Pennsylvania is currently bid up to just over $20,000, reserve not met. Or buy it now for the Reggie Jackson-inspired price of $44,000.
