ebWith less than two days left in an eBay auction this 1969 Nissan Patrol has already surpassed the $10,000 mark. The reserve has yet to be met and I’d imagine it would be somewhere in the mid-to-high teens. As far as Patrols go you’ve got to realize a couple of things… 1. they are certainly rare, and 2. rarity doesn’t translate to a higher price like it does for Toyota FJ40s. This Patrol is very well documented and largely untouched. Still offering up nearly every stock piece she came with when delivered in Bishop, California in October, 1968. The original 145hp inline 6 cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission are still in place and upgraded to an electronic ignition. It has been repainted once in the original color. As the seller points out, this little old Nissan still even has the original “uber rare” hubcaps. The odometer indicates around 67,000 miles and although the seller doesn’t even try to suggest it’s original, looking at this Nissan, I wouldn’t argue one way or the other that it might actually be a low mileage original example of a Nissan Patrol. If you’re interested in this Patrol it currently resides with only its third owner in Johnston, Iowa and you can bid on it here if you hurry.
