I restored a Chevy K10 pickup almost identical to this one. I know how much time and money it takes to do one and unfortunately how little of that you see in return. This little short box truck looks to have really nice body and paint. Not sure why they chose a red bench seat? Seems to be a big-ass pimple on the face of the interior. For the bed they shortened a long box. I’m thinking that’s what throws those rear fenders off a bit. There should be more space between the bed and the cab with a step. Either way, the truck is nice.
The 402 big block is a nice touch and is said to be a strong runner. I don’t know that I need all the badges advertising the engine size, 4 wheel drive, etc. Looks like the seller couldn’t find a step side tailgate either and had to make one. Really, besides the red seat, it’s hard to find fault in this truck. Bidding is currently just over $10,000 and I would expect this little step side Chevy to nudge into the very low teens. I’d guess the reserve might fall into the high teens or even low twenty thousand range. If you’re in the market for an old Chevy K10 pickup keep an eye on this one in Roanoke, Virginia.
