This 1979 Ford Ranger Super Cab 4×4 looks to be very well maintained. The seller doesn’t tell us if the paint is original, but looks as though it might be until you see a photo of the build tag where it looks like there was a mask line done just on the inside of the door. This truck originally came with a 400 cubic inch V8 but has been swapped with a 460 and the original 9″ rear and automatic transmission. Even though it’s a 4×4, the front drive shaft is not part of the sale unless a predetermined price of $9,000 is met. I’d like to think the front driveshaft would be nice to have since it’s being sold as a Ford Ranger 4×4.
The interior of this old pickup looks great. I would guess it is not original but an older recover that is very well kept. The Ford Super Cab offers a couple of little jump seats in the back for mini passengers, groceries or a collection of hunting shotguns. Reserved bidding is currently right around $3,00 and the buy it now of $9,000 must be some indication of what the Renton, Washington seller is hoping to get out of this nice old Ford Ranger Super Cab.
Gorgeous truck! At first I thought it was a 250 but either way, it’s a clean lookin truck. Did it sell ?
