This unrestored IH Scout II has 56,000 original miles and looks the part. The interior shows moderate wear on the tan vinyl pillow top seats. The 304 V8 gets to roll the rubber through a 4-speed manual transmission. The little Scout does have some apparent rust, most noticeably around the rear window, but the rest looks really nice and clean. The question is, do you drive it as is, or restore it now? It does have 56,000 miles, not 5,600, so I don’t see value as a low mileage survivor, but it is still a survivor of sorts. The current bid is up over $9,000 and I believe that should be close to enough money to take this Scout. However, the reserve is still in place. If you want a nice clean Scout II this one in Hays, Kansas might be your huckleberry.
