Appearance wise this 1979 Jeep CJ-5 doesn’t look like anything crazy, but as we know with Jeeps even the least modified Jeep is one to take seriously off road. Although the owner of this rig may have forgotten what season it was, (see surfboard attached to roof with snow on the ground) it has some mods that make it quite an interesting CJ-5.
The Jeep is stuffed with a Chevy 350 for some decent power in a small platform It looks to have some suspension work done but the listing fails to mention any of that, but doesn’t fail to mention that the new gas tank is a keg. The other great thing on the interior is good quality Mastercraft seats and harnesses so if he did skimp anywhere it was not on safety. Other notables would be a set of full doors and half doors so you have your choice fully closed off or wide open. This listing is brand spanking new with an opening bid of $5,000 so get after it and take your New CJ-5 to the beach in the middle of winter, or whatever you want to do with it.
